Mission is to

Promote Yachting in the regions, areas and among people where it is not popular yet. This is an excellent activity for individuals and families. Helps to develop respect to other people and nature.

Educate those who decided to occupy themselves with water sports. Water sport activities
provide a lot of fun, but we need to obtain some preparation to enjoy it to a full extent.

Standardise training worldwide. We are committed to assist the ISSA schools to maintain
the highest and most modern standards of education. We are also open to help those who
are not associated. With safety being the main priority.

Exchange Cultural Experiences between various countries. As an organisation present on
most of the continents we aim to contribute to mutual understanding of people originating
from different cultures.

Training I was lucky enough to learn sailing from two masters: 1) AMM. Ferdinando Lolli 2) Eng. Ferdinando Dandini . • Two navigation experts who have taught me and pass on part of their experience to me. AMM. Lolli over 50 years unparalleled connoisseur and expert of every aspect of civil and military nautical. The engineer Ferdinando Dandini has been a sailor since he was a boy with over 50 years of experience in regattas and crossings of various types. We need to remember what the regatta sailor was, a figure that has disappeared today; In those days, professionalism in the modern sense did not exist and there were no sponsors. Every large racing boat usually had two sailors, who lived with and for the boat twelve months of the year, as long as the boat was still in the yard. In difficult navigation conditions, the elderly sailor became the real skipper. In an age of great social differences in yachting, the racing sailor was invariably descended from generations of fishermen; • Non-competitive racer (with family crew) since 1986 on the Tyrrhenian Sea on boats from 23' to 34' Navigation in Dalmatia for 4 weeks every year since 2001; 200 to 800 log miles per season. Ferdinando Dandini de Sylva
Instructor

Born in Rome in 1946, graduated in Mechanical Engineering at the University "La Sapienza".
He has always worked within the air transport industry: in Costruzioni Aeronautiche G. Agusta, where, after having held various professional positions in the areas of design, production, planning and control, he was General Manager of one of the companies of the Group; in Alitalia, where, after being responsible for the maintenance of the entire fleet, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Sigma and Sigma Travel System, companies which, on behalf of Alitalia, distributed the Galileo GDS to travel agencies.
This was a privileged position to observe, get to know and operate firsthand in the world of the distribution of tourist services, in a moment of considerable changes in the economic balance and in technology.
From an early age he began to go sailing, initially on dinghies and Olympic classes, participating in his first regattas, then he was the owner of sailing cabin cruisers with which he won a Giraglia, an IMS European Championship and an Italian Cup for then move on to racing on the Platu 25 monotypes which saw him on the podium of the Italian Championship for several years
